Job summary

DS Advisory is seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to join our dynamic team in Australia. You will manage a diverse client portfolio, deliver high-level tax and accounting services, and mentor junior staff in a collaborative, professional setting.

You will prepare and review complex financial statements and tax returns, lodge IAS/BAS, and liaise with regulatory bodies. CPA or CA qualification and 5 years public practice experience in Australia are essential.

Qualifications

• CPA or CA qualified
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Commerce, or a related field
• Minimum of 5 years' experience in public practice within Australia (business services or advisory focus)
• Strong tax knowledge including Div 7A, Div 293, Superannuation, deferred tax calculations, GST, and small business concessions
• Experience providing tax advice and working on restructuring and foreign resident tax matters
• Proficiency with Xero, MYOB, and Quickbooks
• MS Office Suite, particularly Excel for financial analysis and reporting

What We’re Looking For:

CPA or CA Qualified (essential)
