Job summary

The Magistrates Court Barwon South West region is seeking a qualified professional to support recovery, stability and wellbeing for clients. You will deliver holistic case management and coordinate access to services within a multidisciplinary Court Support Services team.

Applicants should have a relevant tertiary qualification (Diploma level or higher) and demonstrated experience with clients who have complex needs in mental health, disability, substance use, family violence, or homelessness.

Qualifications

• Experience providing case management to clients with complex and intersecting needs.
• Strong knowledge of mental health, disability and community service systems.
• Ability to establish and maintain relationships with service providers and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Working with clients experiencing complex mental health, disability, substance use, family violence and social support challenges, you will provide holistic support that promotes engagement, reduces risk and improves outcomes.
• Build strong relationships with clients, community service providers, legal stakeholders and the judiciary to coordinate tailored support plans and facilitate access to appropriate services.
• Identify and manage client risks through effective intervention and harm-minimisation strategies.
• Deliver strengths-based case management to clients with complex psychosocial needs.
