Job summary

Court Services Victoria in Geelong is seeking an experienced Case Manager to deliver advanced, client-centred support to people involved in the court system, including those with complex mental health, disability, substance use, and family violence needs.

You will work within a multidisciplinary Court Support Services team to coordinate tailored plans, liaise with service providers and judiciary, and promote recovery, stability and safer outcomes across the Barwon South West region.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience providing case management to clients with complex and intersecting needs.
• Strong knowledge of mental health, disability and community service systems.
• Excellent assessment, case formulation and risk management skills.
• Highly developed written communication skills, including experience preparing professional reports and case notes.
• A collaborative and client-centred approach, with a commitment to positive outcomes for individuals with complex needs.

Responsibilities

• Deliver strengths-based case management to clients with complex psychosocial needs.
• Conduct assessments, develop support plans and coordinate referrals to specialist services.
• Identify and manage client risks through effective intervention and harm-minimisation strategies.
• Prepare high-quality court reports and provide advice to the Court as required.
• Build strong partnerships with service providers, court staff, legal practitioners and judicial officers.
• Contribute to practice improvements that enhance outcomes for clients with mental health and disability support needs.
• Maintain accurate records and uphold professional, ethical and legislative standards.
