Express Employment Professionals is seeking a reliable, customer-focused Counter Assistant / Storeperson to join a busy team in Brookvale. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys a mix of customer service, order processing and hands-on warehouse duties.

Working with an extensive range of approximately 18,000 products, including nuts, bolts, washers, fasteners and structural steel products, you will play an important role in assisting customers and ensuring orders are processed accurately and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist customers at the counter by understanding their needs, recommending suitable products and discussing solutions.
  
• Provide friendly, professional customer service and process customer orders.
  
• Pick, pack, sort and organise a high volume of orders across a wide range of small products.
  
• Maintain accurate stock levels and replenish showroom shelving and floor stock.
  
• Keep the showroom and counter area clean, organised and presentable.
  
• Advise customers on product availability, order status and expected delivery time frames.
• Work collaboratively with the warehouse team to ensure efficient daily operations.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will ideally have:

• 2-3 years' experience in customer service and warehousing, preferably in a high-volume environment.
  
• Experience working in a hardware store, fasteners business, spare parts department or similar industry.
  
• Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple orders accurately.
  
• Excellent communication skills and a friendly, customer-focused attitude.
  
• Good attention to detail when handling and identifying a wide variety of products.
  
• A hands-on approach and the ability to work efficiently in a busy environment.

What's on Offer?

• $36.00 per hour + Super.
  
• Monday to Friday - 9am - 5pm (NO weekends)
