Job summary

CatholicCare Sydney is seeking a Counselling Lead to oversee a small team of counsellors delivering phone counselling to carers across Australia. Based in Lewisham with hybrid/flexible arrangements, you will provide direction, clinical supervision and drive service delivery and KPI outcomes.

You will bring qualifications in counselling, social work or psychology, professional membership, and strong leadership and communication skills to improve client outcomes and staff development within the

Qualifications

• Relevant qualifications in counselling, social work or psychology and professional membership e.g., AASW, ACA or PACFA.
• Industry experience coordinating and implementing services to deliver client outcomes.
• Strong understanding of relevant legislation in counselling services.

Responsibilities

• Providing direction, support, feedback and clinical supervision to a team of practitioners to achieve excellence in service delivery and client outcomes.
• Monitoring service delivery against KPIs.
• Facilitating team meetings to foster a high performing service culture.
• Providing/facilitating supervision and informing professional development initiatives.
• Providing high level and specialist advice to Practice Manager on service delivery and performance.
• Participating in a Duty Lead roster and carrying a small client caseload.
