Job summary

Turner & Townsend in Australia is seeking an experienced lead for Cost Management Commissions, taking responsibility for end-to-end service delivery on large or complex projects and serving as the key day-to-day client interface.

You will ensure projects meet time and cost targets and quality standards, build strong client relationships, manage feasibility studies, cost planning, tendering, procurement, and ongoing valuation and cost reporting across the project lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Recognised degree in Quantity Surveying or Construction Management.
• MRICS or AIQS preferred with substantial industry experience.

Responsibilities

• Interacts with the client and consultants across all project stages.
• Commissions managed to the right quality standards and completed on time.
• Develops strong client relationships and cross-functional team collaboration.
• Monitors margin levels and monthly fee/resource forecasts.
• Produces feasibility studies and procurement reports.
• Performs estimating and cost planning, presents final cost plan.
• Tendering and procurement: prequalification, tender list, preliminaries, tender analysis, reports, documents.
• Manages post-contract cost variances and change control processes.
• Conducts progress claim assessments on site.
• Carries out cost checks and valuations for large projects.
• Produces monthly post-contract cost reports for clients.
• Follows governance processes and cost management procedures.
