Job summary

Turner & Townsend seeks a cost management professional in Australia to support cost planning, reporting and tender assessments across real estate and infrastructure projects. The role emphasizes collaboration with multidisciplinary teams and active engagement with clients to manage budgets and avoid cost overruns.

Successful candidates will bring post-graduate experience, RICS pathway progress, and familiarity with CostX, participating in pre-contract, procurement, and post-contract activities

Qualifications

• 3+ years postgraduate experience in cost management or related field.
• RICS member or on the pathway to membership.
• Experience with CostX is preferred.
• Experience across pre-contract, procurement and post-contract activities.

Responsibilities

• Measurement of all elements for preparation of cost plan
• Pricing of individual items within a cost plan from first principles including market engagement where required
• Preparation of cost reports
• Assessment of tender returns and preparation of tender recommendation report
• Assessment of contractor variations
• Assessment of contractor payment claims and preparation of a payment recommendation to the Superintendent
• Compilation of benchmarking and market intelligence data
• Utilisation of our digital offering, the Hive, for implementation of all deliverables
