Job summary

Monadelphous is seeking a Cost Controller to join our Commercial and Project teams in Brisbane. This role is an immediate start for a driven, organised professional to support project delivery and ensure accurate project records.

You will provide cost control support, manage invoicing in D365, assist with contract setup and data testing, and train team members on D365, JDE, and other systems. Periodic site travel is expected.

Qualifications

• Experience in cost control within resources, mining, energy or construction sectors.
• Strong project invoicing experience is essential.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
• Experience with Microsoft Dynamics (D365/JDE) is advantageous.
• Excellent communication and organisation skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide ongoing cost control support for multiple projects.
• Assist with invoicing and payroll processes in D365.
• Set up and maintain contracts in D365; perform data testing.
• Train project teams on D365, JDE and internal systems.
• Assist with cost tracking, variance reporting and reports distribution.
• Periodic travel to sites will be required.

Monadelphous is seeking a Cost Controller to join our team supporting the Commercial and Project teams.

This is an immediate start opportunity for a driven, motivated and organised professional to play a critical part in supporting project delivery.

As Cost Controller, you will be a solutions focused individual providing support to our project team, ensuring the smooth coordination of both the day-to-day operations whilst maintaining accurate project records.

Key responsibilities will include:

• Provide ongoing D365 support across various projects including invoicing & payroll processes.
• Maintain and assist with setting up new contracts in D365.
• Perform testing of data in D365.
• Involved in training project teams across D365, JDE and other internal systems.
• Assist with cost tracking and variance reporting.
• Assist with the preparation and distribution of internal and external reports.
• Periodic travel to sites will be required.

What you will bring

• Previous experience in a cost control role, ideally within the resources, mining, energy, or construction sectors.
• Strong experience in project invoicing will be essential.
• Advanced proficiency across the Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
• Experience with Microsoft Dynamics will be well regarded.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the confidence to engage across all levels of the organisation.
• Strong attention to detail with well-developed analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• A positive solution focused attitude and willingness to continuously learn and develop.
• Confidence delivering training and supporting users with varying levels of system experience
• The ability to manage competing priorities and work independently
