Job summary

Monadelphous Energy Commercial is seeking an Assistant Accountant to support monthly claims, project financial records, and reconciliations across major energy projects. You will work closely with project teams, clients and internal stakeholders to ensure accuracy and timely financial delivery.

The role requires a tertiary qualification in Accounting or Finance, with CPA/CA pursuit encouraged, and 2-3 years' experience in a similar role within the resources industry.

• 2-3 years’ experience in a similar role within the resources industry.

Responsibilities

• Ensure accurate and timely preparation of monthly claims in accordance with project requirements.
• Maintain accurate project financial records and documentation in accordance with company policies and procedures.
• Liaise with internal stakeholders and external clients to resolve financial queries and variances.
• Perform reconciliation of Recipient Created Tax Invoices (RCTIs) and follow up outstanding payments to ensure timely resolution.
• Provide support to the project accountant and the wider commercial team with ad hoc financial related tasks.

As an Assistant Accountant, you will be responsible for the accurate and timely preparation of project claims, financial reconciliations, and maintenance of project financial records. Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure accurate and timely preparation of monthly claims in accordance with project requirements.
• Maintain accurate project financial records and documentation in accordance with company policies and procedures.

What you’ll bring:
