Job summary

Corrections Victoria is seeking a Justice Officer - Stores to manage stock, stores and finance tasks across prison sites including Loddon and Maldon. The role supports prison shops and prisoner workers and plays a key part in keeping daily operations safe and efficient.

Advanced computer skills and knowledge of finance systems such as Oracle are preferred, with the ability to work well in a team, learn new systems and maintain accurate records.

Qualifications

• Advanced computer skills are desirable and you should know how to use common office programs including spreadsheets, email and word processing tools.
• Knowledge of finance systems such as Oracle and experience with data entry.
• Understanding of stores, shops or warehouse work, including stock control.
• Ability to work well in a team, solve problems and treat people with respect.

Responsibilities

• manage stock, stores and finance tasks across prison sites
• serve prisoners in prison shops and supervise prisoner workers during daily tasks
• process purchases, payments and invoices, manage cash and prepare finance records
• check prisoner purchase requests and ensure all orders follow the rules
• support warehouse, forklift and fleet tasks, keep records up to date and report safety issues.
