Job summary

• Check prisoner purchase requests and ensure orders follow the rules.
• Support warehouse, forklift and fleet tasks; maintain records and report safety issues.

As a service agency within the Department of Justice & Community Safety (DJCS), Corrections Victoria develops and implements policies, programs and services that ensure the safe and secure containment of prisoners, and that seek to rehabilitate offenders by addressing the underlying causes of offending behaviour.What you will doThe Justice Officer - Stores delivers services within prison facilities. This role is primarily based at Loddon Prison & Middleton at Castlemaine; facilities for male prisoners within the medium and restricted minimum-security categories but also provides services from Tarrengower Prison at Maldon, a minimum-security facility for female prisonersAs a justice officer - stores, you will manage stock, stores and finance tasks across prison sites.
