Job summary

Flight Centre Travel Group Australia is seeking an experienced Travel Consultant to join the FCM team, managing corporate and academic travel for a dedicated portfolio of large market clients. You will handle end-to-end travel bookings, including international air, car, hotel, and ground transport, using Sabre GDS, while maintaining strong client relationships.

You will bring 2+ years in travel, strong GDS skills, attention to detail, and a proven ability to work in a team.

Qualifications

• 2+ years experience as Travel Consultant or Travel Manager.
• High level of GDS proficiency, preferably Sabre.
• Strong attention to detail when managing complex itineraries.
• Excellent communication and relationship management skills.
• Proven ability to work effectively within a team environment.
• Sharp business acumen with a drive for sales and service excellence.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end travel arrangements including international air, car, hotel and ground transport using Sabre GDS.
• Handle complex fares, ticket exchanges, Phase IVs and itinerary changes accurately.
• Build and maintain relationships with corporate clients.
• Meet designated SLAs while delivering high service standards.
• Follow account-specific guidelines and procedures for ticketing and GDS productivity.
• Collaborate with and support team members to ensure seamless client servicing.
