$100,000 – $110,000 per year FTE pro-rata
Life At Work are partnering with our valued client to source a capable and experienced Corporate Services Manager to assist the CEO in managing daily priorities, tasks and workflow.
For more than a century, this non-profit organisation has strengthened the voice of parents to ensure every child has access to high-quality public education.
It operates as a small, professional, and purpose-driven team working at the intersection of governance, service delivery and advocacy.
The newly created role of Corporate Services Manager (0.6 FTE) is responsible for ensuring the business operates in a controlled, compliant and financially sustainable manner. The role is hands-on, with scope across finance, governance, compliance, risk, procurement and corporate systems, ensuring the organisation meets its legal, contractual and policy obligations.
Reporting to the CEO, the Corporate Services Manager establishes and maintains the operational disciplines that enable the organisation to function effectively. This includes ensuring financial controls are robust, compliance obligations are met, governance documentation is prepared, organisational policies remain current, contracts and insurance are appropriately managed, and systems and processes support consistent delivery.
Working in a small, high-performing team, this is a role for someone who is equally comfortable preparing a Board financial report, analysing budgets and funding scenarios, processing payroll, coordinating rosters, improving systems, supporting governance processes and stepping in to support the CEO when required.
This role is a 0.6 FTE worked as 45 hours over a fortnight. Typically 4.5 hours per weekday (plus extra hour per fortnight on pay run day), 9.30am to 2.30pm based from our East Perth office. Options to work from home at management discretion after the initial settling in period.
This role is a 12-month contract with the possibility of extension. Occasional work outside of typical business hours may be required.
We are looking for someone with strong financial capability who enjoys being involved in both strategy and hands-on delivery. This role will suit someone who is detail‑driven, collaborative and motivated by supporting an organisation’s long‑term sustainability and impact.
