Job summary

COS is seeking a Receptionist to join our busy branch, acting as the first point of contact for visitors and staff. You’ll manage front desk operations, maintain meeting room presentation, and coordinate mail, stock and general admin tasks.

With at least 2 years in a professional services reception, you’ll deliver polished, confidential service, support multiple teams, and help plan events while using MS Office to keep records and intranet updated.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years’ Customer Service/Concierge Reception experience in a professional services office.
  • Strong front-of-house presentation and guest experience mindset.
  • Excellent MS Office and MS Excel skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication.
  • High attention to detail and confidentiality.
  • Professional, mature, and friendly demeanor with exceptional customer service.
  • Experience supporting multiple teams.
  • Excellent time management and organisational abilities to manage the reception area.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with company event planning, coordination and organisation.
  • Coordinate and maintain the company intranet, spreadsheets and other administrative records, ensuring information is kept current, accurate and up to date.
  • Perform ad hoc tasks as required, including catering, filing, data entry and other general administrative duties.

About The Role

Reporting to the Branch Support Team Leader, the Receptionist will be responsible for efficiently managing our front desk operations and be the first point of contact and the friendly face to our visitors and staff.

About You
  • A minimum of 2 years’ Customer Service/Concierge Reception experience a similar role required within a professional services office environment
  • An excellent understanding of the importance of front of office presentation and guest experience
  • Polished personal presentation is required
  • Intermediate to Advanced in MS Office & MS Excel
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent eye for detail
  • You understand the importance of confidentiality, professionalism, and discretion in every interaction
  • Displays a professional, mature and friendly presentation with exceptional customer service skills.
  • Corporate exposure and proven track record supporting multiple teams
  • Strong time management and organisational skills to effectively monitor the reception area at all times
