Job summary

Sydney Zoo in Western Sydney is seeking an experienced Event & Sales Manager for a fixed-term period of about 8-9 months, to lead the sales, planning, coordination and delivery of corporate functions hosted at the zoo. You will develop business cases for new function types and oversee a yearly event calendar aligned to budget.

The role partners closely with Guest Experience and Marketing, drives the sales and marketing plan, and coordinates with Food & Beverage to shape memorable events for

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years' relevant experience in end-to-end event management.
• Clear, professional written and spoken communication skills.
• Design and styling eye for visual impact.
• Autonomous work style with strong collaboration and negotiation.
• Ability to multitask and meet deadlines under pressure.
• Excellent time management and prioritisation.
• Knowledge of food & beverage trends and market insights.
• Paid Working with Children Check (WWCC).

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end planning, coordination and delivery of corporate functions at Sydney Zoo.
