Job summary

Chandler Macleod Group in Blackburn is seeking a motivated Coordinator - MPO to support governance, reporting and coordination for a major transformation project implementing a new Project Management Tool.

You will work with project managers, stakeholders and vendors to maintain schedules, risks, budgets and documentation, and assist with training materials and change management to enable adoption of new tools and processes.

Qualifications

• Experience in project coordination or project management environments.
• Strong project reporting and administration skills.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong Power BI skills, including reporting and data visualisation.
• Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication abilities.
• Experience supporting governance forums, steering committees, and project documentation.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate project activities to meet timelines, budgets, quality standards.
• Develop and maintain project documentation, including risk and issue registers, stakeholder management plans, communication plans, and project schedules.
• Prepare steering committee papers, meeting agendas, minutes, and project status reports.
• Coordinate meetings and provide administrative support across project teams, vendors, and internal stakeholders.
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, invoicing, and financial reporting activities.
• Monitor project risks and issues and provide recommendations to support project success.
• Support the development of training materials and change management activities to enable smooth adoption of new tools and processes.
• Undertake research, data analysis, and reporting to support informed decision-making.
• Maintain strong stakeholder relationships and ensure clear communication throughout project lifecycles.
• Assist with the development and review of project-related policies, procedures, and processes.

Coordinator - Project Management Office (MPO)
Blackburn | Hybrid Working (2 Days Office)
$65 per hour + Super
Full-Time | 38 Hours Per Week
3-Month Contract (Until 18 December 2026)

An exciting opportunity is available for an experienced Coordinator - MPOto join a major transformation project focused on the implementation of a new Project Management Tool. This role will play a key part in supporting project governance, stakeholder engagement, reporting, training, financial administration, and project coordination activities to help deliver successful business outcomes.

About the Role

Working closely with Project Managers, business stakeholders, and vendors, you will provide end-to-end project coordination support across transformation and strategic initiatives. You will assist in driving project delivery by ensuring effective governance processes, project documentation, reporting, risk management, stakeholder communication, and operational support.

To be successful in this role, you will demonstrate:

• Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication abilities.
• Experience supporting governance forums, steering committees, and project documentation.
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities.
• Experience working within transformation, strategy, or business improvement projects will be highly regarded.
