Job summary

Queanbeyan-Palerang Regional Council is seeking a Coordinator, Asset Data & Insights to lead the asset information environment, governance, and analytics. This full-time role focuses on turning complex data into actionable insights for infrastructure decisions.

You will oversee data quality, governance frameworks and reporting, while guiding a three-person team and partnering with stakeholders across the Council. Flexible work arrangements are considered.

Qualifications

• Holds relevant tertiary qualifications in asset management, engineering, information systems, data analytics, GIS, business, finance or a related discipline, and/or has demonstrated relevant experience.

• Develop and oversee asset data governance, quality assurance, reporting and analytics, including dashboards and insights that support asset condition, risk, renewal and investment decisions.

Position Number: 6909 Location: Queanbeyan

The Package: $119,876.64 - $132,461.16 gross per annum + 12% super. (Evaluated as Grade 17 of the QPRC Salary System 2026) and Award increases of 4% in 2027-28 and 4% in 2028-2029.

Full-time - 35 hours per week. Flexible work arrangements will be considered.

In this role you will:

We are looking for someone who:

• Holds relevant tertiary qualifications in asset management, engineering, information systems, data analytics, GIS, business, finance or a related discipline, and/or has demonstrated relevant experience.
• Has experience with enterprise asset management systems, asset data governance, data quality and analytics, with TechnologyOne.
• Has strong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills, with the ability to turn complex information into clear advice and build effective relationships across multidisciplinary teams.
