Job summary

Queanbeyan-Palerang Regional Council is seeking a Coordinator, Asset Engineering & Planning to lead asset management planning, lifecycle modelling and renewal forecasting for the Council's infrastructure. The role oversees a four-person team and coordinates input from asset owners, service managers, engineers, finance and consultants to deliver high-quality plans.

The position is full-time with flexible work arrangements and offers a salary package of AUD 131,412.84 – 145,216.24 gross per annum

Qualifications

• Holds tertiary qualifications in asset management, engineering, planning, finance, project management, business or related discipline.
• Experience in infrastructure asset planning, lifecycle modelling and long-term renewal forecasting is highly regarded.
• Strong analytical, communication, stakeholder engagement and leadership abilities are essential.

Responsibilities

• Lead the preparation and continuous improvement of asset management plans, including lifecycle modelling, renewal forecasting, asset condition, criticality, risk and levels of service.
• Provide strategic advice to prioritise capital works, maintenance, renewal and upgrade programs.
• Lead a four-person team and coordinate input from asset owners, service managers, engineers, finance, project teams and consultants.
