Job summary

Delaware North Australia is hiring casual Cooks and Kitchen Attendants at the Blacktown Exercise Sports and Technology Hub. You will contribute to the kitchen’s success by following recipes, preparing dishes, and supporting a fast-paced, team-focused environment.

We offer flexible shifts, development opportunities, and access to employee assistance programs, with potential to work across world class events and venues. Previous kitchen experience and a Food Safety Certificate are valued.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated background in kitchen operations.
• Minimum Level 3 Commercial Cookery, or currently undertaking.
• Willingness to learn under guidance from our chefs.
• Food safety certification or willingness to obtain at onboarding.

Responsibilities

• Follow recipes for menu preparation, ensuring adherence to cooking guidelines and standards.
• Execute food preparation tasks with strong presentation skills.
• Maintain consistent cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen.
• Ensure WHS compliance and meet Food Safety standards.
• Conduct temperature and quality checks and prevent cross-contamination.

More about you

• Solid background in kitchen operations, previous experience as a Cook is required
• Minimum Level 3 Commercial Cookery, or currently undertaking
• Willingness to learn under guidance from our chefs
• Demonstrated passion and enthusiasm for working in a fast-paced environment
• Food Safety Certificate or willing to obtain at onboarding
