Job summary

CCC Camps in New South Wales is seeking a proactive Cook or Kitchen Hand to deliver high-quality meals to guests. The role focuses on preparing meals, maintaining hygiene, and supporting a welcoming kitchen team.

You will follow set menus, accommodate dietary needs, and ensure proper food storage and safety practices across shifts, contributing to the organisation’s mission through excellent guest service.

• Prepare and cook meals according to set menus, dietary needs, and portion requirements
• Maintain food presentation and quality standards at all times
• Ensure correct storage, rotation, and handling of food to meet food safety requirements
• Maintain cleanliness of kitchen areas and equipment throughout and after service
• Follow Work Health & Safety and Food Safety procedures at all times
• Provide excellent service to guests through quality meals and a positive attitude
• Support the mission work of CCC Camps by contributing positively to the kitchen team

We are a Christian, faith-based, not-for-profit organisation that supports schools, churches, youth groups, disability services, and other community-based groups. We operate several venues across NSW that specialise in outdoor adventure activities. We are looking for a proactive Cook or Kitchen Hand to deliver exceptional service to our guests.

About the role

This position will ensure high-quality meals are prepared and delivered consistently, and that food safety and hygiene standards are maintained across all shifts.
