Job summary

Guzman y Gomez Mexican Kitchen is hiring a Cook to be at the heart of our restaurant operations in Sydney. You will prepare fresh Mexican dishes, weighing ingredients and delivering consistent quality for both new and regular guests.

Experience helps but isn’t mandatory; we value a proactive, coachable attitude, a 'can do' mindset, and reliable teamwork. Overnight or mixed day/lunch/evening shifts available.

Qualifications

• Kitchen experience is helpful but not essential.
• Open to coaching, eager to learn, and ready to put in the effort.
• 'Can do' attitude and reliable.

Job Description

The Cook is at the heart of the restaurant operations. You will be preparing fresh and delicious food, problem solving and weighing-in with expertise on vibrant Mexican flavours. You’ll have the opportunity to utilise fresh ingredients to produce high standard products for our new and regular guests.

Experience is helpful, but it’s not everything. What we mean is:
