Job summary

UPA's Oolong Hostel in Howlong, NSW is seeking a Casual Cook to join the team. The role focuses on safe food preparation in compliance with HACCP, with emphasis on resident-centred care and allied aged care standards.

Applicants should possess Certificate III/IV in Commercial Cookery, Food Safety Supervisor cert, and be capable of working flexible weekend shifts in a supportive aged care environment.

Qualifications

The Opportunity

We are looking for a Casual Cook to join our team at Oolong Hostel in Howlong, NSW.

The successful candidate will ideally have:

• Knowledge and experience in working to the compliance of the Food Safety Standards to HACCP level

• Strong time management and communication skills

• Understanding of residents' rights, person-centred care and dignity of risk

• Ability to manage change efficiently and effectively

• Ability to use the Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel & Outlook)

• Certificate III & IV in Commercial Cookery/Hospitality

• Experience in Aged Care desirable
