Job summary

The United Protestant Association of NSW Limited (UPA) is seeking a part-time Cook for Myoora in Henty. You will prepare meals that meet residents' dietary needs and contribute to a welcoming dining experience within our aged care setting.

Applicants should have a relevant cookery certificate, food safety qualifications, and knowledge of HACCP. Weekend availability and teamwork are essential; prior aged care experience is desirable.

• Certificate III or IV in Commercial Cookery or Hospitality
• Food Safety Supervisor Certificate
• Knowledge of Food Safety Standards and HACCP
• Understanding of special dietary needs and person-centred care
• Strong time management, communication and teamwork skills
• Availability to work weekend shifts
• Aged care experience and a current First Aid Certificate are desirable

The Opportunity

We are looking for a part-time Cook to join our team at Myoora in Henty. You will prepare meals that meet residents' dietary needs and help create a welcoming dining experience.

About you

• Certificate III or IV in Commercial Cookery or Hospitality, and a Food Safety Supervisor Certificate
• Knowledge of Food Safety Standards and HACCP requirements
• Understanding of special dietary needs and person-centred care
• Strong time management, communication and teamwork skills
• Availability to work weekend shifts
• Aged care experience and a current First Aid Certificate are desirable
