Job summary

The United Protestant Association of NSW Limited (UPA) invites applications for a Cook at Gumleigh Garden in NSW. You will work to HACCP standards, manage meals for residents and support person-centred care, with weekend shifts required.

The Opportunity

We are looking for a Cook to join our team at Gumleigh Garden.

• Knowledge and experience in working to the compliance of the Food Safety Standards to HACCP level
• Strong time management and communication skills
• Understanding of resident's rights, person-centred care and dignity of risk
• Ability to manage change efficiently and effectively
• Ability to use the Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel & Outlook)
• Certificate III & IV in Commercial Cookery/Hospitality
• Food Safety Supervisor Certificate
• Understanding of Aged Care Quality Standards and Special Dietary needs
• Experience in Aged Care desirable
• Team player who is highly motivated
• Availability to work weekend shifts
