Job summary

Estia Health is seeking a dedicated Cook to join our Queensland kitchen team. You will help create meals residents love, delivering high service standards and nutritious, tasty dishes across our homes.

Your role will work with the Chef to manage daily kitchen operations and tailor meals to individual needs. The ideal candidate holds a Certificate III in Commercial Cookery, communicates clearly, documents accurately and brings experience in a commercial kitchen, with aged care experience highly

Qualifications

• Certificate III in Commercial Cookery.
• Great communication and documentation skills.
• Some experience within a commercial kitchen (Aged care highly regarded).
• Broad range of cuisines and dietary requirements understanding for residents.

Responsibilities

• Work alongside the Chef to assist with kitchen management.
• Tailor meals to meet individual needs and preferences.
• Ensure residents receive healthy, nutritious and delicious meals.
• Support the broader kitchen team to deliver a memorable dining experience.

• Support the broader kitchen team to deliver a memorable dining experience

You’ll be a real team player who has:

• A Certificate III in Commercial Cookery
• Great communication and documentation skills
• Some experience within a commercial kitchen (Aged care highly regarded)
• A healthily amount of experience with a broad range of cuisines, dietary requirements in response to social, spiritual & cultural needs of our residents
