Job summary

Guzman Y Gomez in Australia is hiring cooks for a 7 day roster. Earliest start is 5:30am. You will work in a fast-paced kitchen preparing fresh Mexican-inspired dishes for customers.

Experience is helpful but not essential. We value a willing to learn, reliable team player with a can-do attitude and commitment to the role.

• Prepare fresh and delicious food in a fast-paced kitchen.
• Assist with weighing and portioning ingredients and maintaining quality.

The Cook is at the heart of the restaurant operations. You will be preparing fresh and delicious food, problem solving and weighing-in with expertise on vibrant Mexican flavours. You’ll have the opportunity to utilise fresh ingredients to produce high standard products for our new and regular guests.

Experience is helpful, but it’s not everything. What we mean is:

• Kitchen experience is great but not essential
• Is open to coaching, eager to learn and ready to put in the effort
• ‘Can do’ attitude and can be relied upon

Additional Information

Shifts are available from 5:30 AM - 12:45AM on Weekdays, 5:30 AM - 1:45AM on Friday and Saturday. Looking for all availabilities including weekends!

No cooking experience necessary, training and procedures provided. Just reliability, willingness to learn and work as a part of a team!
