Job summary

Guzman y Gomez on the Sunshine Coast is hiring Cooks to join a seven‑day roster. Earliest start is 5:30am. You’ll help prepare fresh Mexican-inspired dishes and contribute to a fast-paced, customer‑facing kitchen. Experience helps, but training is provided and reliability matters most.

We are looking for cooks across a 7 day roster. Earliest start time is 5.30am. Please reach out if you’re interested in joining a fast paced kitchen!

The Cook is at the heart of the restaurant operations. You will be preparing fresh and delicious food, problem solving and weighing‑in with expertise on vibrant Mexican flavours. You’ll have the opportunity to utilise fresh ingredients to produce high standard products for our new and regular guests.

Experience is helpful, but it’s not everything. What we mean is:

• Kitchen experience is great but not essential
• Is open to coaching, eager to learn and ready to put in the effort
• ‘Can do’ attitude and can be relied upon
