Job summary

Moama Bowling Club’s main kitchen is hiring a full-time Cook to join our busy, multi-service venue. You will perform all food preparation and cooking duties, work across sections, and help maintain high hygiene and food safety standards.

We welcome candidates with experience in commercial cookery and large-volume kitchens; Certificate III is highly regarded but not essential. The role offers a salary range of $70k–$80k plus 12% super, plus staff benefits and development opportunities.

Qualifications

• Experience in commercial cookery and large-volume environments.
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced kitchen.
• Proven skills in food preparation and plating to high standards.
• Familiarity with working across kitchen sections (pans and fryers).
• Certificate III in Commercial Cookery highly regarded but not essential.

Cook - Full Time/Permanent

Essential Skills Required

• Certificate III is Commercial Cookery (highly regarded but not essential)
• Experience in commercial cookery
• Proven experience in a large high-volume commercial kitchen
• Experience in food preparation and plating up.
