Job summary

Bolton Clarke Residential Aged Care Opportunities – Lismore NSW is seeking a dedicated Cook to deliver high-quality food services to residents at Heritage Lodge, Murwillumbah. This permanent, full-time role offers a minimum 38 hours per week with guaranteed earnings of $79,423 per annum plus superannuation.

Key responsibilities include planning and preparing nutritious meals, supporting the Chef, stock control, and ensuring compliance with food safety standards.

Qualifications

• Certificate III in Commercial Cookery or higher.
• A minimum of one year’s experience in a commercial kitchen (aged care or hospital experience preferred).
• Bulk cooking experience (highly desirable).
• Experience preparing texture-modified meals (advantageous).
• Strong communication skills and the ability to engage effectively with residents, families, and colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Take direction from the Chef and work collaboratively within the kitchen team.
• Plan, prepare, and present delicious, well-balanced, and nutritious meals for residents.
• Assist with general food preparation, kitchen duties, and stock control.
• Purchase and order food supplies and kitchen equipment as required.
• Ensure all food is prepared, cooked, and served in compliance with relevant legislation and food safety standards.
