Royal Freemasons Coppin Residential Aged Care is seeking an experienced Cook to deliver nutritious, appetising meals and support resident wellbeing. You will be part of a supportive hospitality team focused on quality, safety, and positive dining experiences for older Australians.

This permanent part-time role runs Tuesday to Friday, 10:00am–6:00pm, with opportunities to contribute to menu planning, stock management, and teamwork in a not-for-profit aged care setting.

• Support a dementia-inclusive dining experience that promotes dignity and wellbeing.

The Opportunity

As a Cook, you will play a key role in delivering safe, nutritious, and appetising meals that support the health, wellbeing, and individual preferences of our residents.

Working closely with the hospitality team, you will help create a positive dining experience that brings comfort and enjoyment to older Australians every day.

This is a permanent part-time position working a regular roster of Tuesday to Friday, 10:00am to 6:00pm.

Your Responsibilities:

• Prepare fresh, nutritious meals that cater to residents' individual dietary needs and preferences.
• Maintain high standards of food safety, hygiene, handling, and storage in accordance with relevant regulations.
• Manage stock levels and assist with food ordering to ensure kitchen supplies are maintained.
• Safely use and store kitchen chemicals and equipment in line with workplace procedures.
• Work collaboratively with the kitchen team to create a positive and supportive work environment.
• Provide friendly, respectful, and responsive service to residents, visitors, and colleagues.

Who We’re Looking For:

• Trade Certificate or Diploma in Cookery
• Food Handling Safety Supervisor Certificate
• Work experience in Residential Aged Care as Cook or similar experience within Hospitality/Health of at least 2 years experience
• Ability to lead by example and train a team
• Good computer literacy and documentation skills
