Royal Freemasons Coppin Residential Aged Care is seeking an experienced Cook who is passionate about food, quality, and resident wellbeing. You will work with a supportive hospitality team to deliver nutritious, appetising meals that enhance the lives of older Australians.

This permanent part-time role runs Tuesday to Friday, 10:00am to 6:00pm, focusing on safe preparation, dietary needs, and a dementia-inclusive dining experience that supports residents' dignity.

Formación

• Trade Certificate or Diploma in Cookery.
• Food Handling Safety Supervisor Certificate.
• At least 2 years in Residential Aged Care as Cook or related hospitality/health.
• Ability to lead by example and train a team.
• Good computer literacy and documentation skills.

Responsabilidades

The Opportunity

As a Cook, you will play a key role in delivering safe, nutritious, and appetising meals that support the health, wellbeing, and individual preferences of our residents.

Working closely with the hospitality team, you will help create a positive dining experience that brings comfort and enjoyment to older Australians every day.

This is a permanent part-time position working a regular roster of Tuesday to Friday, 10:00am to 6:00pm.

Your Responsibilities:

• Prepare fresh, nutritious meals that cater to residents' individual dietary needs and preferences.
• Maintain high standards of food safety, hygiene, handling, and storage in accordance with relevant regulations.
• Manage stock levels and assist with food ordering to ensure kitchen supplies are maintained.
• Safely use and store kitchen chemicals and equipment in line with workplace procedures.
• Work collaboratively with the kitchen team to create a positive and supportive work environment.
• Provide friendly, respectful, and responsive service to residents, visitors, and colleagues.
• Adhere to Aged Care Quality Standards and organisational policies at all times.
• Support a dementia-inclusive dining experience that promotes residents' dignity, choice, and wellbeing.

Who We’re Looking For:

• Trade Certificate or Diploma in Cookery
• Food Handling Safety Supervisor Certificate
• Work experience in Residential Aged Care as Cook or similar experience within Hospitality/Health of at least 2 years experience
• Ability to lead by example and train a team
• Good computer literacy and documentation skills
