Oaks Sunshine Coast Oasis Resort is seeking a passionate and reliable Cook to join our kitchen team on a casual basis. You will prepare ingredients, cook a variety of dishes to a high standard, and contribute to a memorable dining experience for guests.

This role offers rotating shifts across Monday to Sunday, two consecutive days off each week, staff meals, uniforms, and free onsite parking, with competitive hourly rates and opportunities for overtime. Immediate start available.

Competenze

• Minimum 12 months experience as a cook or in a similar kitchen role.
• Knowledge of various cooking procedures and methods.
• Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team.
• Positive, proactive attitude and genuine passion for cooking.
• Flexibility to work a range of shifts, including weekends and public holidays.

Job Description

Oaks Sunshine Coast Oasis Resort are looking for a passionate and reliable Cook to join our kitchen team on a casual basis.

This role is essential in supporting the smooth operation of the kitchen, preparing and cooking a variety of dishes to a consistently high standard, and helping deliver an exceptional dining experience for guests.

Key Responsibilities Include

• Prepare ingredients and assist with the cooking and plating of meals.
• Cook a variety of dishes in line with menu standards and guest expectations.
• Ensure excellent presentation of meals before service.
• Maintain proper food storage, safety, and hygiene standards.
• Keep the kitchen clean, organised, and compliant with Workplace Health and Safety (WHS) requirements.
• Support team members to ensure smooth daily kitchen operations.

Shift Details (subject to change)

• Brekafast Shifts
• Rotating roster across Monday to Sunday
• No split shifts required
• Immediate start available.

Hourly Rates (excluding superannuation)

Monday - Friday: $34.96 per hour
Saturday: $41.96 per hour
Sunday: $48.95 per hour
