Maranatha House in Wellington, NSW is seeking a Qualified Cook to join the hospitality team and prepare meals for residents in line with aged care standards. You will work closely with the Chef Manager to ensure dietary needs are met.

This role emphasizes safety, hygiene, and teamwork within a regulated environment. Responsibilities include menu-aligned cooking, dietary accommodations, stock control, and collaboration with care staff to address health concerns.

Qualifications

• Certificate III in Commercial Cookery or equivalent.
• At least 1 year of full-time commercial cooking experience.
• Experience cooking large-scale meals (80+ servings) in a regulated environment.
• Knowledge of HACCP and food safety practices.
• Ability to work in a team and independently.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Flexibility to work a rotating roster including weekends and public holidays.
