Job summary

Kogan People Solutions is recruiting for a Cook to join a busy Brazilian restaurant in Diamond Beach, NSW. The role offers a permanent, full-time position with a salary negotiable in the range of $80k to $85k plus super.

Job Description

COOK – Brazilian Restaurant – Diamond Beach, NSW Kogan People Solutions, recruiters, are working to assist our client who runs a highly regarded Brazilian restaurant located in Diamond Beach, NSW. Providing traditional Brazilian cuisine at its finest and adapting these dishes using local Australian ingredients, our client has become one of the most popular Brazilian restaurants in Sydney and is now expanding. This busy restaurant proudly serves authentic Brazilian staples, such as feijoda, moqueca and burrito bowls, alongside their exquisite gourmet pizzas and mixed BBQ plates.

Our client is now seeking a new Cook to join their happy and productive kitchen team. A top salary negotiable in the range of $80k to $85k plus superannuation per annum is on offer Responsibilities of our Cook will include:

• High standard meals preparation and quality control (checks of raw materials, temperature controls).
• Ensure compliance of the HACCP system regarding food handling procedures.
• Portion and plate foods in accord with company policy and procedures.
• Hygienic food storage in refrigerators.
• Training of kitchen staff and apprentices as required.
