The Meat & Wine Co Southbank is seeking experienced cooks to join our passionate national team. You will be responsible for preparing dishes to our standards in a fast‑paced, high‑volume environment, delivering quality service and working with a professional team.

We require 1+ year kitchen experience, a Certificate III Commercial Cookery (or 1–3 years relevant experience). Full-time contract with salary $75,000–$90,000 plus superannuation per year.

Qualifications

• 1 + year of proven kitchen experience in a fast paced, high volume environment
• Prepare all dishes to The Meat & Wine Co standards and recipes
• Strong understanding and appreciation of all aspects of food and its service
• Impeccable presentation, hygiene and grooming standards
• Ability to work over a 7-day rotating roster, including weekends, nights and public holidays

To be considered for this role you will need to possess the following:

• 1 + year of proven kitchen experience in a fast paced, high volume environment
• A minimum Certificate III Commercial Cookery Qualification or at least 1-3 years of relevant employment experience.
• Prepare all dishes to The Meat & Wine Co standards and recipes
• Strong understanding and appreciation of all aspects of food and its service
• Effective communication skills to maintain a secure and friendly working environment
• Impeccable presentation, hygiene and grooming standards
• Ensure compliance with all OHS legislation (act and regulation)
• Ability to work over a 7-day rotating roster, including weekends, nights and public holidays on a full time contract
