Job summary

Italian Street Kitchen West End is seeking an experienced Cook to join our vibrant team. Based at 97 Boundary St, West End QLD, you will work in a fast-paced, high-volume kitchen creating Italian dishes including artisan pizzas in a wood-fired oven.

The ideal candidate has at least 1 year in a busy venue, holds a Certificate III Commercial Cookery or equivalent, and is committed to hygiene, presentation, and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1+ years in a high-volume, fast-paced establishment.
• Certificate III Commercial Cookery or 1–3 years of relevant employment experience.
• Italian product knowledge an advantage.
• Understanding of wood-fired pizza oven.
• Strong work ethic, presentation, and hygiene standards.
• Flexibility over a 7-day rotating roster.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook Italian dishes to a high standard.
• Maintain cleanliness and food safety throughout service.
• Support team with prep and service during busy periods.

To be successful in this role, you must have the following:

• At least 1+ years’ experience in a high-volume, fast paced establishment

• Understanding of wood fired pizza oven
• The passion and drive to succeed and produce high quality dishes to our company standards
• Strong work ethic and attention to detail in all areas of your work
• Impeccable presentation, hygiene and grooming standards
• Flexibility over a 7-day rotating roster
• Willingness to undergo further training and development within our brand
• Full Time salary of $70,000-$80,000 plus Super
