Good Slice Pizza in Maroochydore, QLD is seeking an experienced Cook to join the team. You will prepare, cook and present a variety of dishes, including pizzas, while maintaining consistent quality and supporting efficient kitchen operations.

Responsibilities include handling ingredients, operating ovens and equipment safely, monitoring times and temperatures, and ensuring adherence to food safety standards. Permanent full-time role with a focus on reliability and teamwork.

Formación

• At least 1 year of experience as a Cook in a restaurant.
• Strong knowledge of food preparation and cooking techniques.
• Ability to prepare a variety of dishes while maintaining quality.
• Good organisational and time management skills during busy periods.
• Sound understanding of food safety and workplace health and safety.
• Ability to work independently and with a kitchen team.

• Preparing ingredients, including washing, cutting, portioning and organising food supplies for daily service.
• Operating cooking equipment, including ovens and other kitchen appliances, safely and efficiently.
• Monitoring cooking times, temperatures and food presentation to ensure consistency and quality.
• Managing food preparation and coordinating orders to ensure timely service during busy periods.
• Monitoring stock levels, assisting with food ordering and ensuring proper storage and rotation of ingredients.
• Maintaining cleanliness and organisation of kitchen workstations, equipment and food preparation areas.
• Ensuring compliance with food safety, hygiene and workplace health and safety regulations.

Job Type: Permanent/Full-time
Salary: $75,000 - $85,000 per annum.
