Job summary

Bolton Clarke is hiring a Cook for our Brisbane onsite operation. You will deliver high-quality meals to residents, support the Chef, and help maintain safe, nutritious food service in our aged care setting.

The role requires a Certificate III in Commercial Cookery and at least one year in a commercial kitchen. Experience with texture-modified meals and bulk cooking is advantageous, with strong resident communication a must.

Qualifications

• Certificate III in Commercial Cookery or higher.
• Minimum of one year’s experience in a commercial kitchen (aged care or hospital experience preferred).
• Bulk cooking experience highly desirable.
• Experience preparing texture-modified meals advantageous.
• Strong communication skills and ability to engage residents, families and colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Take direction from the Chef and work collaboratively within the kitchen team.
• Plan, prepare, and present nutritious meals for residents.
• Assist with general food preparation, kitchen duties, and stock control.
• Purchase and order food supplies and kitchen equipment as required.
• Ensure food is prepared, cooked and served in compliance with food safety standards.
