Job summary

NEPEAN Conveyors is seeking experienced Conveyor Technicians and Belt Splicers to join our Service team, performing workshop and field operations across the Gulgong/Mudgee region. You will conduct belt inspections, installations, splicing, vulcanising, and maintenance while adhering to NEPEAN procedures.

The role offers travel with provided accommodation and meals, opportunities to work on major mining projects, and potential progression into leadership roles within a supportive team environment.

Qualifications

2+ years conveyor or belt experience.
Experience with fabric belt splicing and repairs.
Level 2 or Level 3 Belt Splicer is highly desirable.
Underground Black Coal experience is desirable, not essential.
Current driver’s licence is essential.

Responsibilities

Conveyor belt inspections and condition mapping.
Conveyor belt installations and replacements.
Fabric and steel cord belt splicing and repairs.
Hot and cold vulcanising.
Pulley lagging repairs and replacements.
Belt cleaner inspections and maintenance.
General conveyor belt maintenance tasks.
Complete quality documentation and reporting requirements.
