NEPEAN Conveyors is seeking experienced Mechanical Service Technicians to join our field service team across mining, steel, ports, quarrying and heavy industrial sites. You will be involved in installation, maintenance, shutdowns and commissioning of conveyor systems, with opportunities to work across Australia.

Based in the Gulgong/Mudgee area, you will travel to client sites, perform on-site servicing, fault finding and repairs, and contribute to project documentation while upholding safety

Qualifications

• Mechanical trade qualification (Fitter/Boilermaker or similar).
• Conveyor maintenance experience preferred.
• Full Driver’s Licence; on-call may be required.
• Forklift, dogging, EWP, and heights certs or willingness to obtain.
• Order 45 mining inductions or equivalent.

Responsabilités

• Represent NEPEAN Conveyors at customer sites during service activities.
• Manage customer concerns and equipment breakdowns on site.
• Conveyor installation and maintenance activities.
• Installation and replacement of rollers, idlers, pulleys, and belt cleaners.
• Pulley and drive component change-outs.
• Conveyor structure assembly and modifications.
• Alignment and commissioning of conveyor systems.
• Shutdown maintenance and breakdown response.
• Mechanical inspections and condition assessments.
• Work safely per site and company procedures.
• Complete service reports and project documentation.
• Provide support for maintenance on site.
• Undertake additional works and troubleshooting as required.
• Some workshop work when not in the field.
