Job summary

NEPEAN Conveyors, a division of NEPEAN, seeks experienced Conveyor Technicians and Belt Splicers to support workshop and field operations across the Bathurst/Lithgow NSW region. You will perform inspections, splicing, vulcanising, and maintenance on conveyor systems while following NEPEAN procedures and safety standards.

You will travel for site work, with opportunities for career progression into Leading Hand and Supervisor roles and ongoing training within a professional team environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years’ conveyor or belt experience.
• Experience with fabric belt splicing and repairs.
• Level 2 or Level 3 Belt Splicer (Highly Desirable).
• Steel Cord Splicing Experience (Highly Desirable).
• Underground Black Coal experience (desirable, not essential).
• Certificate III in Polymer Processing (or working towards).
• Construction White Card (highly regarded).
• Physically capable of repetitive lifting up to 25 kg.
• HR licence, forklift, dogging or rigging licences (highly regarded).
• Ability to work away from home when required.

NEPEAN Conveyors, a division of NEPEAN™, delivers fully engineered turnkey conveying and materials handling solutions to some of the world’s largest mining companies. Established in 1985, we design, manufacture, install, maintain, and relocate conveyor systems across Australia.

The Opportunity

We are seeking experienced and motivated Conveyor Technicians and Belt Splicers to join our Service team, working across workshop and field operations in the Bathurst / Lithgow regions in NSW.

What You'll Be Doing

• Conveyor belt inspections and condition mapping

What We're Looking For
