Job summary

Connected People is seeking an experienced Conveyancing Paralegal to join our Property team in Sydney. The role will own the firm’s residential conveyancing matters, managing transactions from instruction to settlement.

You’ll contribute to growing the residential offering and work in a hybrid environment with strong support from an energetic Property team. This is a growth-focused opportunity with clear career pathways as the firm expands.

Qualifications

• Solid residential conveyancing experience.
• Ability to manage own matters with autonomy.
• Experience drafting and reviewing contracts and conveyancing documentation.
• Experience using PEXA workspaces.

Responsibilities

• Manage residential sales and purchases end-to-end.
• Prepare and review contracts and conveyancing documentation.
• Manage PEXA workspaces and settlements.
• Liaise directly with clients, agents, banks and solicitors.
• Manage key dates and settlement requirements.
• Work alongside experienced lawyers within the broader Property team.

• Hybrid working within a supportive Property Law team
• Scope to shape and grow the residential conveyancing offering
• $100,000 - $130,000 base + (depending on experience)
• Genuine growth and development opportunities, with multiple career pathways available as the firm continues to grow (happy to discuss further at interview).

An opportunity has become available for an experienced Conveyancing Paralegal to join the Property team of a growing boutique national commercial law firm.

The role will take ownership of the firm’s residential conveyancing matters, managing transactions from initial instruction through to settlement.

Residential conveyancing has grown organically through the firm’s existing client base, and there is genuine scope for the successful candidate to help shape and grow this area over time.

The role

• Manage residential sales and purchases end-to-end

• Manage PEXA workspaces and settlements
• Liaise directly with clients, agents, banks and solicitors
• Manage key dates and settlement requirements
• Work alongside experienced lawyers within the broader Property team

About you

You’ll have solid residential conveyancing experience and be comfortable managing your own matters with a good level of autonomy.

You may be a Conveyancing Paralegal, Licensed Conveyancer or Property Paralegal with strong residential experience.
