Job summary

Accenture Australia is seeking experienced Control Systems Engineers to design, program, and implement process control systems across diverse industries. You will contribute to PLC/SCADA projects, integrate instrumentation and field devices, and help deliver reliable automation solutions.

Candidates should have 3+ years in industrial control, a relevant engineering degree, and strong documentation skills. WA water sector experience is highly regarded; Accenture supports career progression and

Qualifications

3+ years experience with industrial control systems design, programming, and implementation.
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science or related field.
Expert knowledge of control system programming languages (ladder logic, structured text, function block etc.).
Hands-on experience with multiple PLC brands/platforms (e.g. Allen-Bradley, Siemens, Schneider etc.).
Knowledge of industrial network/communication protocols (Ethernet/IP, Profibus, Modbus etc.).
Excellent documentation skills with ability to create functional specifications, drawings, manuals, FAT and SAT documents etc.
Experience with Danfoss VSDs, instrumentation/field devices, wiring, terminations
Troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
Practical Site experience of automation systems (commissioning and fault-finding experience essential)
Previous Water Corporation WA experience will be highly regarded.
