Pacific Energy is seeking an Engineer – Control Systems to deliver SCADA and control system design across nationwide projects in Australia. The role requires delivering technical documentation, specifications, and design materials while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams and commissioning activities.

The successful candidate will mentor junior engineers, ensure compliance with Australian Standards, and contribute to continuous improvement in control philosophies and LNG SCADA

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualification in Electrical Engineering or related discipline.
• Proven experience in control systems, instrumentation, OT networking, and SCADA/HMI development.
• Strong technical writing and documentation skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams.
• High attention to detail and problem-solving capability.

Responsabilités

• Develop and review technical documentation, specifications, and functional design materials.
• Support SCADA and control system design, development, optimisation, and change management.
• Deliver engineering work across the full project lifecycle, including control logic, equipment specification, schematics, and software testing.
• Mentor junior engineers and promote a culture aligned with company values.
• Ensure designs comply with Australian Standards, Mines Regulations, statutory requirements, and safety principles.
