Job summary

Waltrix & Co in Western Sydney is seeking a Contracts Administrator or Senior Contracts Administrator to join the delivery team on a major recycled water infrastructure project. You will work closely with Project Managers, Engineers and contractors on site.

The role focuses on day-to-day commercial and contract administration across two main contracts, including payment schedules, variations, notices, and registers, while ensuring compliance with AS 4000 and the Security of Payment Act.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Contracts Administrator on construction or infrastructure projects.
• Strong knowledge of Australian standard-form contracts, ideally AS 4000.
• Knowledge of the Security of Payment Act.
• Experience with variations, EOTs, claims, payment schedules and contractual notices.

Responsibilities

• Preparing and issuing payment schedules
• Assessing variations, EOTs and contractor claims
• Preparing contractual correspondence and notices
• Maintaining commercial and contractual registers
• Monitoring programmes, milestones and key contractual dates
• Supporting Project Managers and Superintendents on commercial matters
• Coordinating with the wider project team to ensure contractual obligations are being met
• Supporting commercial reporting and project record keeping
• Escalating complex claims and contractual issues to the Commercial Manager
