Job summary

GFG Projects in Cairns is seeking a motivated Contracts Administrator to support delivery of a diverse range of commercial construction projects, working closely with the Project Manager and site teams.

You will manage contracts, cost reporting, procurement and subcontractor engagement, with a strong focus on safety, profitability and meeting client expectations. Relocation assistance may be considered for the right applicant.

Qualifications

• Experience in a Contracts Administrator role within the commercial construction industry, projects up to $20 million.
• Experience managing subcontractors and administering contracts with knowledge of BCIPA legislation.
• Advanced knowledge of project management or job costing software such as Jobpac.
• Proficiency across the Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Support project delivery through contract administration, cost management and procurement.
• Engage subcontractors and manage project reporting.
• Collaborate with Project Manager and site teams to ensure safe, efficient and profitable delivery.
• Contribute to budget control and cost reporting for projects.
