Job summary

CGC Recruitment is seeking a qualified Contract Administrator to join our Brisbane team. You will manage subcontractor contracts and payments, while supporting project cost control and documentation.

With 3–5 years in commercial construction, you will navigate Australian contracts, liaise with clients and subcontractors, and contribute to project success through careful planning and communication.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3–5 years as a Contract Administrator in commercial construction.
• Experience on projects ranging from $5M–$20M.
• Strong knowledge of Australian construction contracts.
• Excellent negotiation, communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
• Exceptional organisational skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and manage subcontractor contracts and purchase orders.
• Review and process subcontractor claims and progress payments.
• Manage contract variations and extensions of time.
• Assist with project cost control and financial reporting.
• Liaise with clients, consultants and subcontractors on contractual matters.
• Ensure compliance with contractual obligations and company policies.
• Maintain accurate project documentation.
• Assist in preparing head contract progress claims.
• Contribute to a positive, collaborative team environment.
