Job summary

CPB Contractors in Sydney is seeking a Contract Administrator to join the project commercial team on a major healthcare infrastructure project. You will support cost forecasting, subcontractor claims and contract administration to help deliver the hospital tower and related works.

The role requires experience in contract administration for large-scale construction, proficiency with JDE/PayApps is desirable, and the ability to build strong stakeholder relationships.

Qualifications

• Experience in contract administration on major building or infrastructure projects.
• Preparation of cost forecasts and monthly reporting to support project performance.
• Experience using JDE, PayApps or similar systems is highly desirable.
• Ability to administer progress claims, variations and final accounts.

Your opportunity

Reporting to the Project Director the Contract Administrator will sit within the project commercial team and be accountable for:

• Cost forecasting and estimating
• Management of subcontractor claims for progress and variations, through to final account
• Ensuring contracts and conditions are suitable to project interests and contract conditions
• Assisting with head contract payment applications, contract administration and commercial risk management
• Building strong relationships with key stakeholders and contributing to the successful delivery of a complex healthcare infrastructure project.

Our Minimum Requirements For This Role Are

• Well-developed experience within a contract administration;
• Employment history that includes major building or infrastructure construction projects;
• Administering multiple finishes and preliminaries trade packages, including progress claims, variations and final accounts;
• Preparing and maintaining project forecasts, cost reports and month-end reporting to support project performance and financial outcomes;
• Experience using JDE and PayApps is highly desirable; experience with equivalent commercial systems such as Minerva will also be considered.
