Job summary
JMDR Railtech in Sydney is seeking an experienced Contract Admin & Scheduling Lead to drive the planning for tender, design and construction delivery teams on rail projects. You will develop, review and monitor programs to ensure milestones are met across multiple work streams.
The role requires strong leadership, extensive MS Project and Primavera P6 experience, and the ability to communicate complex information to diverse stakeholders while mentoring junior planners and improving planning
Qualifications
- Experience leading planning and scheduling for complex projects.
- Proficiency with MS Project and Primavera P6 PPM Version 18.
- Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills.
- Rail, transport, construction, mining, or engineering project experience.
- Excellent communication across levels and teams.
- Ability to mentor and develop planning teams.
Responsibilities
- Oversee contract administration and manage fixed price projects.
- Plan and schedule using MS Project and Primavera P6.
- Develop, review, and negotiate variations to contracts, programs and projects.
- Coordinate tender design and construction delivery schedules.
- Provide senior management with timely reports on planning and deviations.
- Mentor planning staff and build internal scheduling capability.
- Establish and maintain program schedules and monthly updates.
- Ensure schedule compliance with PM methodologies.
