Job summary

UnitingCare Queensland is seeking a skilled Project Manager to deliver capital projects across aged care refurbishments, sustainability and larger developments in a live operating environment. The 12-month contract offers hybrid working by agreement and potential extension.

You will report to the Senior Project Manager, manage the project lifecycle from concept through to completion, and collaborate with clinicians, staff, residents and partners to translate needs into practical, well-delivered

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualification in property, construction management, or related field.
• Project management certification (PMP, AIPM) or equivalent.
• Experience delivering minor to medium capital works end-to-end.
• Advanced computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office; familiarity with Power BI and MS Project.
• Experience delivering projects in live environments balancing operations and project outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Manage the delivery of capital projects from concept to completion.
• Engage closely with customers and stakeholders to translate needs into practical outcomes in live environments.
• Support a portfolio predominantly across BlueCare, with hospital projects as required.
• Apply project management fundamentals across governance, time, cost, scope, quality, reporting and benefits realisation.
• Build strong, trusted relationships with stakeholders to support smooth delivery.
• Identify and manage risks, issues and interdependencies, escalating when needed.
• Provide clear, practical advice to support decision-making and problem-solving.
• Monitor and report on key project performance metrics.
• Live the values and contribute to a positive team culture and portfolio outcomes.
